93/100 vinous
"Deep yellow. Fresh citrus, apple and kettle corn (which is sweeter than popcorn) on the nose and in the mouth. Deep and flavorful, showing a multifaceted quality that lingers impressively on the back end. Pecorino’s mouth-searing acidity is evident on the palate despite the 100% malo. Finishes long and vibrant, with very good juiciness. I’m impressed by how Emidio Pepe has improved its Pecorino wines over the last few years."
